Genoa Boat Show opens 1 October with over 1,000 boats and 215 new models
The 66th Salone Nautico Internazionale runs from 1 to 6 October at Genoa's Waterfront di Levante. Organiser Confindustria Nautica has gathered more than 1,000 boats and 215 new models, with exhibitors from 45 countries, and the in-water display has grown about 4% on last year.
The growth is in bigger craft: the Yacht & Superyacht dock takes megayachts of 35–50 metres, a new Living Made in Italy area covers boats over 24 metres, and the average length of the three largest yachts in each segment is up 14.1%. The newly finished Palasport pavilion hosts the Blue Arena talks.
For owners it is the last big Mediterranean chance this season to compare hulls, engines and equipment side by side before winter.
