Who processes the data

nautmap.com is a directory of yacht services in Europe. The site is operated by, and the data controller is, Trend Store 1995 EOOD (Тренд Стор 1995 ЕООД), UIC 207029483, Nessebar 8230, Bulgaria.

What data we process

Company data in the directory: publicly available business information from companies' official websites — name, address, phone, e-mail, website, services and brands.

The “Add a company” and “For businesses” forms: the name, phone, e-mail, company details and message you enter yourself.

Reviews: name, yacht model, date of visit, rating and text — published on the company page after moderation. Your e-mail, if provided, is never published.

Technical data: your IP address and browser details appear in the logs of our host, Cloudflare. The IP address is used to protect forms from spam (rate limiting) and to choose the country and language of the site; we do not store it ourselves.

Geolocation: only if you allow it in your browser. The coordinates are used on your device to pick the nearest port and sort companies by distance, and are not sent to us.

Browser settings: your chosen language and port are kept in your browser's storage (localStorage and sessionStorage). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Visit statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.

Purposes and legal bases

Handling company requests and messages — to reply and to list the company in the directory (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Publishing reviews — based on the consent you give when submitting a review (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Publishing company business data — legitimate interest in helping boat owners find a service, marina or charter (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Site security and visit statistics — legitimate interest in a safe and convenient website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who receives the data

Cloudflare — website hosting, attack protection, form handling and statistics.

Telegram — notifications to the site administrators about new requests and reviews.

Zoho Mail — e-mail correspondence with you.

Your browser connects directly to external services: OpenStreetMap and OpenSeaMap (maps), Open-Meteo (weather forecasts), Google Fonts (fonts) and cdnjs (map library). These services receive your IP address. Google Maps opens only when you click “Directions”.

Where data is transferred outside the EU, this is done on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or a European Commission adequacy decision. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Requests and messages — up to 2 years. Reviews awaiting moderation — up to 60 days. Published reviews — while they are published or until you ask us to delete them. Hosting logs — as set by Cloudflare.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, object to processing and withdraw consent. Write to [email protected] — we will reply within 30 days.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (www.cpdp.bg) or with the supervisory authority of your country.

Companies in the directory

If you represent a company and want its details corrected or removed, use the form on the “For businesses” page or write to [email protected].

Children

The site is not intended for people under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version, with the date of the latest change, is always published on this page.
