Eleven bids for the 30-year concession of Estepona marina

The Andalusian Public Ports Agency (APPA) received eleven offers for the concession of the leisure-boating area of Estepona port; bidding closed on 28 September. The contract runs for 30 years and requires at least €10 million of investment.

The marina has 447 berths for boats from 6 to 35 metres, a 425-metre quayside wharf and 272 parking spaces, over 21,358 m² of land and 35,978 m² of water. The operator must run and upgrade the site with sustainability, digitalisation and innovation in mind.

For berth holders on the Costa del Sol it means renewal work in the coming years: the winner will shape services and tariffs at Estepona for the next three decades.
